J.P.S.G wrote: Thank you very much... but i have a question... this isn't complete, right? No the taper ran out of tape during Jailhouse Rock, so this is incomplete. There is another recording of this show that's inferior to this one. I believe someone here is working on adding the ending to the show using that source. If or when that happens I will post it here. For now, I suggest you do not delete these files if that version becomes available in it's entirety.

The version that is torrented here is an alternate master for this show. Queenconcerts doesn't list this source at all. The version that is described on QC uses an (almost) complete, but inferior recording for most of the show. A few cuts are patched with yet another source. When I edited this recording for release I intentionally did not fade out the end of Jailhouse Rock to allow a seamless patch from the other source.

Thank you for your answers... very kind from you two. I want to keep this "Sheer FLAC Attack", but my problem is that i don't have a big broadband... but at least i'll post some of my own bootlegs in The Hub tomorrow saturday, and maybe someone can torrent them here.

Here, I've added the remainder of the show from the inferior source. Here it is in FLAC: http://www.sendspace.com/file/czj4up Note that I've corrected the pitch to be a half-semitone higher. So, just raise the pitch of the original FLAC version a half-semitone, and paste this in at the end of Break Free, and you'll have the best recording possible.

Sir GH

ah yeah
wrote: So, just raise the pitch of the original FLAC version a semitone, and paste this in at the end of Break Free, and you'll have the best recording possible. Unfortunately it is not that simple. If you only adjust the pitch of a show, that doesn't run at the correct speed, the result is going to be horrible, because all you did was changing the pitch without affecting the speed of the recording, which is of course still off. What you want to do is to correct both the speed and the pitch of the recording simultaneously. For example in Cool Edit Pro there are options to adjust pitch or speed only and there's the option to adjust both at the same time (called "resampling" in CEP). And once you've changed the speed of the recording, you end up with sector boundary errors between each track of the show, which means that it will not play back seamlessly (i.e. without clicks between tracks) when burned to an audio disc. Therefore whenever you change the lenght of wav files, you always need to fix the resulting sector boundary errors prior to burning.
