Hello everyone,

just as the subject says. I have read the discussions and "Ultimate Collection" threads. Now...I check my two mp3s of Silver Salmon, and I'd like to know what really is out there (I'm not on the hub).

One mp3 is 2:36, starts with a guitar sound that belongs to the end of the song really. Then you hear that "he doesn't know it" talk, then a cut, like something has been edited and the song plays. It ends early, because:
The other mp3 (3:03) is clearly the same recording of the song (I checked it and re-checked it), but without the studio talk and the song ends with that distinctive guitar sound you can hear at the beginning of the other mp3.

So which one is the "real" or original one? The song recording is the same in both cases, just the studio talk seemed to be edited in front of one mp3 and the song's ending has been cut. Sorry about the confusion, I'm just curious.

Jan

2nd one is the real one.

the beginning (which are the end part of the 3rd one you mention) is sometimes also called Silver Salmon. But I believe it's a different song.

"On the first day Pim & Niek created a heavenly occupation. Pim & Niek blessed it and named it 'Loosch'."
