Hi!

I'm sponsoring adult English classes at my school for our non-English speaking parents. Most of them are native Spanish speakers. I want to make a welcome sign for them in Spanish. If anyone can help me translate that would be great. Here is what I want the sign to say:

Welcome to Adult English Class!

Please sign in here. If you have children with you that need to go to the child care room, please go with them to the cafeteria. Classes are in the library.

Thank you for coming!!

Thank you to anyone that can help me with this!!!

yeah it is but think about it logically;
its america, they move here and want all the benefits of americans and they get them, gladly, i think its great they come here to improve their life but we'll give all the benefits for them but they cant learn our damn language, so now we have to work twice as hard

once again, im not racist or anything but learn our freaking language if you want all the benefits of living in America

Absolutely rude and idiotic of you to say that. These families are coming to this class to learn English. It is not a requirement to have already learnt English before coming to this country, anyone is welcome. If no one offers them English classes, then how are they supposed to learn?

Comments like this is why Americans are hated across the globe.

They are coming to these classes to learn. What part of "parents coming to learn English" did you not understand? You may not be a racist, but your comment certainly was.

By the way, thank you heart person for the translation. :)

You forgot one apostrophe and substituted a comma when you should have included either a semi-colon or a period.

Perhaps you should focus on your own misuse of "our language" before you berate others.

Good luck, Lisser. Sorry, I don't know how to say that in Spanish. Haha. But of course, hand motions can work really well when directing crowds of people. Think "flight attendant".

I thought necesidad was necessity... wouldn't it be *EDIT "necesitan"? Please correct me if I'm wrong, I haven't spoken Spanish in ages..

It's not "nececitan" , its "necesitan" and either way its not correct in this case
its necesidad (need)

*insert extra useless space here*

I know it means "need", but there is a difference between the verb and the noun. It sounded like something else.
But thank you for correcting my spelling. :D

Ouch Jamie! You just pulled a Mel Gibson on us.

I think you spent too much time talking to Ben. Apparently racism is contagious.
