Didn't Jim Hutton write that they didn't really know WHEN he actually died, but that they just sort of discovered in a way?

But anyway, I believe around seven would suffice for any candle lighting.

7PM? I was under the impression that it was 7AM, based on Jim's book. Hmm... I must have read it wrong. >W<

All I know is, a few minutes after my friend from England was born, a nurse came in and told his mum Freddie had died, but yeah, I thought it was 6.45pm too, I think that's what it says in The Brian May Story.

Ok. Tanks. If anyone has anymore input love to hear it but at the moment I'm leaning toward 6:45 as that seems to be the general trend.

Will anyone from this forum be at Garden Lodge on November, 24th?
I´ll be visiting London in a few days and like to know if there will be a special "ceremony" in front of Fred´s former home.

I´ll eat them whole before I´m done!

Dead o'clock.

But seriously - wasn't this in that Jim Hutton book? He notes that he stopped the arm of a clock he'd given to Freddie when he died.... I don't recall if he mentioned the actual time when he did it though.

"Dave Clark had only got as far as the doorway when Freddie died. He came back in to stay with me, and Phoebe ran to find Joe. I stopped the tiny fly-wheel of the wind-up carriage clock by the bed. I'd given it to Freddie because he told me he'd always wanted one. It read twelve minutes to seven. I've never started it again." --Jim Hutton, Mercury and Me
