Hi all. I have a question about Queen's concerts in and around 1986, I know for sure that in Wembley, Freddie or Roger says something like 'Spines' before they play 'Under Pressure' lol. I have also asked a few other friends/fans if they heard that, they did, but we are confused on what exactly he is saying and why. lol. Please help, i know this is kinda stupid for a question, but it is bugging me. lol. Thanks in advance. :)

He is saying "You swines" to the audience after also exclaiming "F**k you."

What an odd (and non-specifc) thing to know for sure.

I am not sure we are thinking of the same position in the concert. :) This is 1 word, and you can hear the P in the word, but it is possible to be Swines tho. And i am pretty sure this is Roger Talking.

I always thought he was saying 'You'll Find' i don't know why, sounds the least likely of the suggestions here, but i think 'You swines' fits faaaaar better lol!

I think it is something like "They're times" in other words he might have meant there are times you are under pressure

Thanks guys, i have come to the conclusion that is has to be just the 1 word 'Swines' because of the sounds and you all know how they loved to call the audience names. lol Thanks.

The one who talks in that part of the concert is not Roger..is Freddie..and I always thought he said something like "It´s fine"...but I am not sure...
Roger or Brian...could you please be so polite to tell all of us about this issue. Thanks in advance!

He is saying "You swines." It's after he does his back-and-forth with the crowd. I remember buying the cassette version when Wembley was first released in the US in either 92 or 93. The record company cut a few songs and the part of the Freddie/crowd back and forth. So at the start of Under Pressure all you heard Freddie say was "swines" on the cassette and you didn't know why -- until you bought the CD, which had the complete concert. Hope that makes sense.
