i bought a copy of the timeasia magazine today. the cover was on the greatest asian heroes for the past 60 years. i was half surprised to see freddie among those people. why half surprised? well, he is definitely an asian hero, but he was amongst the greatest asian leaders and role models like mahatma gandhi, mother teresa, etc.

here's the link to the internet article in case you want to see it. :)

It's a great article, but this made me laugh -

"if the best Bollywood directors and screenwriters could conceive of a rock band it would be something like Queen, and its frontman would be a mustachioed, spandex-clad peacock like Bulsara."

Somehow, I don't think Bollywood could have conceived of a band like Queen or a character like Freddie. Nope. Uh-uh. No way.

"The others don't like my interviews. And frankly, I don't care much for theirs." ~ Freddie Mercury

The other day I went to a bookstore, but unluckily I found there were few back numbers except this issue. So, I ordered a copy of it.
