Hi all,

I'm looking to upload a number of FLAC concerts in the coming weeks but have a question or two.

I'm trying to use Rapid Uploader (free account)for the first time. I've selected the tracks 1-20 and pressed go. Will this give me 20 separate links or divide them in to a few 100meg files?

Any uploading advice appreciated.

Cheers

I don't have the uploader program on this PC, so please bear with me. You should have a History section on the uploader. When you go there you'll see a history of all the files ou uploaded with a "Details" link for each one. When you click on Details you'll see the "download" and "remove" links for each file. if you want to upload a larger file you'll have to split it in archives yourself.

To answer your question, yes if it worked properly, the multi-upload thing would give you separate links.

I've never been able to get the multi-upload to work though. ("then how do you know it would give separate links?") Ahh, good question. Because logically it would. The multi-upload is just to save time, it's not to combine anything. Shame it doesn't work! I have to use two or more browsers to upload more than one file at a time.

It works for me. Just drag and drop the files in the uploader window. The thing is that you have to wait for one file to upload before you move on to the next. It's the sort of thing that you leave on all night.
