I hardly could resist their recommendations... but I did... as I wan´t to buy ZENI´S BOOK!!!

PS: ...only nine more days till Xmas though...
...which book would you recommend me to buy "Queen Anarchist"???

I went to Amazon.com.uk.com to look this one up.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Freddie-Mercury-Afterlife-Peter-Freestone/dp/0953334112/sr=1-2/qid=1167155603/ref=sr_1_2/202-2019025-6661411?ie=UTF8&s=books

I recognized many of the reviews as being for Peter Freestone's "other" book. However, some of these reviews have recent dates on them.

?

I did see from looking at the Amazon page that this "Freddie Mercury - The Afterlife" is a "print on demand" title.

Here's another thing I found.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Mister-Mercury-appreciation-Peter-Freestone/dp/0953334104/sr=1-6/qid=1167155787/ref=sr_1_6/202-2019025-6661411?ie=UTF8&s=books

I'm guessing this was a working title for "Freddie Mercury - An Intimate Memoir By the Man Who Knew Him Best." Blah blah blah.

I like the other title better. A simple "Mr. Mercury - An Appreciation."

?

But what I'm wondering is if "Freddie Mercury - The Afterlife" is just a reprint of the first book, with possibly an added little blurb about Mary Howis's experiences?

Hi!
I think The Afterlife is a great book for fans of Freddie. This is the second of Peter Freestone's books written in 2004. It takes up where his first book left off. He talks about how Freddie impacted his life and how much he misses him. It covers what he has been doing since 1991 when Freddie passed and also what many of the other people in Freddie's life are doing today. He goes into more detail about the weeks after Freddie's death when he, Jim Hutton, and Joe Fannelli had to find another place to live in a short time. He also describes a visit to Garden Lodge in 2003 where he met with Mary Austin and got to see Delilah again. My favorite part is the last section of the book where he gives out the recipes for the foods Freddie loved to eat. I thought it was an interesting book.
