Lucky those of you who don't live in Long Island.

I'm always under the constant fear of Billy Joel driving through my wall.

It's true. He didn't start the fire.

Or...did he?

Then why did he have a whole show dedicated to his music? I suspect he suffers from the same blinders Queen does when it comes to AI.

And you all should look into why he fired his longtime drummer Liberty Devito. Not very classy, in my opinion.

"The 2006 Billy Joel tour is the first known tour to not include DeVitto on drums since his inclusion in Billy Joel's band in the 1970s. Prior to that point he had the longest running tenure in Joel's band. This is thought to stem from a confrontation between the two men regarding Joel's past problems with alcohol. Another possible reason for the break between the two musicians, according to the New York Post, is that DeVitto wanted more money."

Wikipedia is a good place to start your quest.

" “I told him I was getting divorced, my ex-wife was getting everything, could he help me out? I helped him create hits, but I wasn’t getting any royalties. The next day, he had the tour manager tell me, ‘No way.’”

When Joel didn’t invite him to his 2004 wedding to third wife, Kate Lee, DeVitto says, “I wrote him a letter, confronting him about his drinking and certain management issues. People said I discredited him. But then he went into rehab and proved me right.”"

I don't understand why Liberty Devito has to ask for more money as if Billy Joel is not the one who writes the royalty checks.

For the information I've read, it seems like Liberty is asking the wrong person for money, and Billy clearly has issues with alcohol. It's hard to pick who is at fault in this case.

I'd say send them both to Judge Judy.
