Oh boy. Cabbage patch dolls are freeeeaky. I once had one of those eating cabbage patch dolls (I think it was on the news for eating some girls hair...). It freaked me out so bad, I finally shoved a penny down it's throat and almost destroyed it until it started to make a really disturbing noise...not quite as scary as my furby experiences...

I think the doll came with french fries. I heard about the hair-eating thing, too. The dolls were quickly pulled from the market. They are probably worth a fortune now!

Yes, it was a worthwhile experience.

My two nieces were in grade school at the time, and we had a lot of fun thinking up things for Little Earl and Cleo to do.

Are there any expert googlers out there? I made a slight attempt to find a picture of the french fry eating cabbage patch doll, but all I found was print - no photos.

You DO have LOTS of time on your hands, obviously, reason being you're, shall I say, pleasantly plump and I'll bet you eat Famous Amos out of the box like handfuls of cereal.

Hah, well it is still in my closet! Do you think it'd be worth much if it's broken? lol. The penny is still somewhere in it's throat. But at least if it did sell, I made it safe. ;)
And I'd be able to sleep easier at night, bahaha (just kidding).

Anyhow, thanks to you I'm actually going to try to sell it on ebay! Maybe I can make some spare change. ;D

Maybe I should make it my life goal to fight evil toys.

Cabbage Patch dolls suck, and are boring. No offense, I see you have loads of fun with them, Carboengine.

But Edgar, why the cruel insult to Bryce?

Here's my infamous hair-eating Cabbage Patch doll:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v302/killerqueen840/100_1324.jpg

I tried giving it surgery to remove the penny in its throat. I almost attempted removing its head, but decided it was a hopeless clause and left it be. I guess I successfully killed it.

i never really had a cabbage patch, but i had a furby. i thought it was cool for a while, but then it was like broken and it wouldnt fall asleep, so it kept me up all night(keep in mind i was just a little kid, so it was kind of scary, i thought i was its prisoner)

then when those other furbys came out they were all like colorful and stuff, they were called baby furbys. and they ran out of batterys really fast because they never shut up. and one time when the batterys just would not die, i picked it up and threw it at the wall...it never spoke again...

your words. not mine.
