Christmas and the holidays are great and all...but I'm really tired of fudge and cookies!

Have you seen Sasha? There's no need. She looks perfect the way it is.

Something with "If you show me yours, I'll show you mine", perhaps?

I would kindly recommend these:

Romania

* Piftie (pork- and cow-based aspic, with pork meat, vegetables and garlic)
* Cârnati (pork-based saussages)
* Toba (various cuttings of pork, liver boiled, diced and "packed" in pork stomach like a salami)
* Sarmale (rolls of cabbage pickled in brine and filled with meat and rice, see sarma)
* Cozonac, sort of Romanian equivalent of panettone

:D

kiss kiss,
Sonia

It's an inside joke. One that people who know what they are talking about will laugh at and enjoy on the social level as well as a higher level.

Thanks for the interjection though.

LOL - In the US you're not even able to find REAL REAL food in the supermarket!

Only good stuff is the meat - but then those tasteless Americans totally ruin it in the microwave! ;-)
