on Paul's site it has been announced that he will be doing some solo shows in 2007 april/july. this imo could mean 2 things.

1.No Queen 2007 tour (Unlikely Judging By No. of Shows)
2.Paul warming up his voice before 2007 Queen tour

just wondered what u all thought

Perhaps he's testing the waters down south to see if Queen might come to Texas this time!!!

Haven't you people read the fan club magazine? The new album is expected to be released next autumn. So I guess we have to wait till then for a new tour.

I got to try al little more,

because I'm an asshole but I'm learning.

Those tour dates are to support the release of his new DVD that was recorded on his UK solo tour...

I think him doing some solo dates are fine. I also think that it would be good if Queen were to start the tour for the new studio l.p. BEFORE it were released just to raise the interest level as high as possible for it...

What's the point in doing that? I want to know the songs BEFORE I go to a concert.

That's nice that you think that its ok for him to do some dates by himself. After all he is a solo artist.

why would you start a tour in the summer when everybody is on holiday, that makes no sense. A tour will be in the autum most venues have a program that is till the summer and even Queen can't stand up and say now we are gonna play, it takes time

And now it seems this summer tour will NOT happen. They'd need time to practise their set, and Paul seems to be very busy with his solo career during the spring. So, the new album & tour will probably take place in autumn.

Haha yes. And the way it has been put on the website, gives me the idea that Holland lies in Amsterdam.

Well, I probably WILL be seeing Paul at the Bospop festival in Weert.
(I get sent there every year to write a review, so I assume this year will not be any different :-)

I already requested an interview with the man. If the request will be granted, you can be assured I get things cleared up about the album and the tour - and I'll keep you informed of course! ;-)
