Deaks is the best songwriter
Roger could write a 100 songs, but maybe only 50 of his songs are good.
Deaks not writes a lot of songs, but almost every song of him is great.
He's the least populair but the best songwriter.

Deaky is INCREDIBLE. But, he can't compare with Freddie. I love Spread Your Wings, Your My Best Friend, AOBTD, IWTBF, Misfire...but they are nowhere near Bohemian Rhapsody, My Fairy King, Somebody to Love, Love of my Life, In the Lap of the Gods...Revisited, Killer Queen, Liar.....the list continues.

Brian was fairly consistent, Freddie could be hit or miss, and Roger was more often miss than hit. John was pretty good, but like some of you said, his biggest downfall was how little songs he actually wrote.

In my eyes, Deaky has what Roger misses.. The ability to make music that doesn't make your ears bleed half of the time, and Roger had what Deaky was misses.. The ability to make his songs interesting.

Most of Rogers songs is quite creative and could really be classy (like Radio GaGa or AKOM), but he manages to to screw the ryhtm some places, or does weird thing with the instruments that just isn't working.

Deaky has never made an 'ear-bleader' (apart from YMBF which is a bit to me,but that just because I dont like the piano), but I think a lot of his songs is rather booring.

The thing written above is only my personal opnion and pont of view!

Let's call it taste. That sounds so much nicer than 'ignorance'. ;-P

I think Brian May's Prophet's Song is a very tough match.

You and I is def. one the greatest songs!
Well, you're right, he is indeed very, very, very good, but I'm not sure I would say he's the best.

I really love a lot of Brian's songs as well!
And Freddie's.. And Roger's.. LOL

Deaky wrote some good songs, and he wrote some crap (don't you dare forget 'Misfire', which was horrible), like the others. I call it a tie.

Let's see: Deaky's songs are about friendship, love, & sometimes without a message. Roger's songs on the other hand are not so deep: he's criticising some mother ( Looser in the end), he's loving his car more than his girlfriend, he's calling all gils, etc. so they're kind of dry, apart from Innuendo, - this one isn't perfect either- its lyrics are pretty crapy. So between Rog & Deaky, I'd go for John. Brian & Freddie - that would be too much to comment. ( I have to go dry my hair)

the middle section of Prophet song is boring - it goes on too long

and is only a Bo Rhap copy
neither of which hold a candle to Somebody to Love / Don't Stop Me Now / Nevermore

By grossly misinterpreting "Loser In The End" (and not being able to spell), you've ruined the rest of your message's credibility. Not that it made sense anyway, it was as well-presented as FOX-news. Not at all, that is.

you are incredibly shallow in your interpretation
IILWMC is about one of queen's roadies who was obsessed with his car
One Vision - was originally about Martin Luther King
These Are The Days - extremely deep
