Hey,

anyone knows if there is a website for Optima Strings? (I searched all over and couldn't find)

Or where I could find info about the company ?(where it is located, contact for commercial department)

Thank you

Now those are some expensive strings. Anyone know what effect gold-plating has on tone? It's interesting enough to check out myself, despite the fortune it would cost to obtain just one set of strings.

I've tried them before and haven't continued, mainly because I'm a cheapskate! lol

Anyway, I felt they gave me faster playing. Seriously! It may sound like a weird thing to say, but they really did make me move across the fretboard and play faster.

The sound, I'm afraid I can't remember. It's been a while. But I think they're the best strings I've used and will soon invest in some more soon.

Adam.

It's been mentioned that they also last longer than normal strings.

They do last a little longer and the tone is a little brighter. Great strings, I buy all my strings from Wimba and I live in the states.

Thank you guys for the replies,

I already had Andrew's/A strings contacts, and I was looking for the official Optima company.

However I talked to Andrew, he was very helpful, and in the meanwhile I also found a website and contact for Optima strings.

These strings surely last longer and sound a little better. I already ordered two sets from Andrew to try!

Cheers!
Rui
