Yes, vandalizing someone else's home is always something to be proud of.

So because they did it, it's right? You are worse than a hooligan, you are a hanger-on, who follows the crowd.

No, that's right; you don't. Because you're too dumb to understand.

But it's NOT his house. He's DEAD. It's Mary Austin's house. Freddie has, if you wish to believe, moved on to a different "home".

mircal wrote:

I can understand it going on right after he died, okay. But it has been more than fifteen years. It's not like the house is a memorial - PEOPLE LIVE THERE. REAL PEOPLE. WHO HAVE LIVES OF THEIR OWN.

Again, Freddie is dead. It's not "his" house. It was once his house, hooray. But it was NOT made into a pyramid for heaven's sake. It's a home - why not respect it as such ? If you must do something to it - why not do something like volunteer to wash her poor door or clear away flowers and "offerings" or something ?

If you need to do something to honour Freddie, put flowers by his statue or donate to the Trust.

In theory, you could donate the travel expenses that would go to writing something on this door to finding a cure for AIDS - or if you would rather, donate the money to a local food bank.

Is this same exact discussion going to come up every time somebody writes something on that woman's damn door?

I'm preparing plans to either kick Mary out, or move in there... I'm not entirely sure how to do either and I'd probably go with the second one anyway...

she has sons right?
