I haven't seen this thread around, so here it is again... And if you like, give a bit of feedback on the song you're listening to! I've discovered many good songs out of "recommendation" like this.

Mr. Bojangles- Nitty Gritty Dirt Band

I mainly heard this because I read it greatly resembled "Piano Man".. It does, but it's also a beautiful song in its own right.

POST!

I'm listening to Innuendo. It's been a while, and I felt I needed it. :)

If There's Any Justice - Lemar.

If anyone doesn't know him, he became popular from a show called "Fame Accademy" which didn't last long, but, Lemar out of all the others became most popular.

I like his voice, it's very soulful. He has good harmony too. =]

Lullaby, from Shock Treatment.

I should really get around to watching the whole movie... but from what youtube has taught me, the songs in that movie are very '80s ( '81 ). Awwww... The seventies were so much NICER!

The Saints Are Coming - U2 + Green Day

This song was originally written and recorded by a scottish punk rock band called The Skids, in 1978.

U2 and Green Day recorded it together in 2006 and the profit made from it are going to the Music Rising project. This project's got something to do with buying new instruments for musicians from New Orleans.

U2 and Green Day performed the song in the Superdome in New Orleans (as well as Wake Me Up When September Ends and Beautiful Day).

In the U2 concert in Hawaii during the last leg of the Vertigo tour, Billie Joe (Green Day's lead singer and guitarist) joined U2 on stage and they played this song.

We got the Cosmos rockin'!

We got the Cosmos rockin'!

We got the Universe rockin'!

We got the Cosmos rockin'!

We got the Cosmos rockin' to the mighty power of rock'n'roll!
