"I don't see myself running around on stage at 45 years old" Maybe he knew something, but he often said this throughout his career.

Are you sure he said 45 years old and not 50?

He also said "I don't think a 42-year-old man should be running around in his leotard any more". Though we guess why he must said that, I think there were some other reasons as well (like some kind of happiness in private life, etc.).

And when I look at Charlie Watts I tend to agree with Freddie. Queen could be the perfect and top band in the 90s only with because of their studio albums.

Yeah and 'Great King Rat' is about a man who dies in his forties because of sleeping around too much.

So what that he is old???

It's not american idol or something.

It's about the music...

And apart from that...Charlie, never ran around in ridiculous clothes, he is very down to earth, and has a good taste when it comes to ,fashion

I think freddie would have kept writing and singing, but after their fairwell tour in 1993 he would have retired from the stage. At age 47.

So nothing that he is old. Have I judged about his music or what? But he looks scary on the stage. When the artist forget to leave the stage at some point/time - he becomes ridiculous. When the 70-year-old actress is trying to play Lolita - it's ridiculous too. Though she can be the great actress.
