We thought we'd wait until it was finished before getting impatient...

The fact that this is not an archival issue but a new project should make even YOU think.

Would Rodgers spend time and effort on something that'll never be released? I think not.

I heard they had enough material for a Double single.

Happens more than you'd think. Cozy Powell had an unreleased album, pretty sure Robert Plant has one too. Kiss & Prince have both shelved albums that were only later released as archival releases.

Steve Perry (solo) has more unreleased songs than released songs.

understand the scepticism, but i too feel they wouldn't bother if they weren't going to release something. even if it's not an album, in today's world, it would be very simple to release the tracks online only. depends if they are happy with the work they've done.

the archives and boxset projects won't be done until Brian decides to invest the time in them. He won't leave it to others, and previously it was the musical which he focused on, then the tour, and now the new material.

I think at some point he will get back to the box set stuff and more DVD-Audio (or whatever the new format is then), but it will be when there's nothing else for him to work on. It'll always be his lowest priority.

If the Q+PR thing works and there is a sucessful outcome from the studio and another tour, then it could be another 5+ years at least before the archives are addressed I think.

And that's not to mention the greatest video hits 3 or whatever it's called.

Oh, thats right...every "new" project that Queen has done as seen the light of day. Please...

Again..I'm not saying NOTHING will come out of this project. I just dont see a complete LP being released. Maybe a single or whatever...
