I know that it was between july 1979 (recording of the game)
and may 1980 (video of play the game).
I want to know exactly if it was in the end 70's or in the beginning of the 80's ......
please tell me SERIOUSLY and in the respect of the privacy he was affecting so much as any Queen fan knows, don't say stupidities about his sexual life as some of you did whith my previous question !

When he found out that the moustache in his pants felt lonely and wanted a buddy upstairs.

His appearance on the Kenny Everett show was February 1980. I can't remember off-hand if he had a moustache by then (I dont think he did), but it might help you pin-point it a bit more.

April 7th 1980. He said so in an interview.

So next week you will be celebrating the 27th birthday (or should I saw growday?) of Freddies moustache?

No no no,

The truth is that Freddie never ever grew a moustache, it was mass-halucination caused by LSD in the drinking-water. The CIA denies involvement, so they did it.

Oh, and on a related note, Queen never existed, they were four CG-figures made by a megalomaniac producer some 20 years before such technology was invented. Everyone who says he/she saw them live is lying. And all the live-DVDs are hoaxes.

Will there be anything else that needs answering?

There's as much point to this as there is to the topic.

As funny as this topic has become, I'll offer a relatively serious answer...

It was some point in early 1980. Freddie didn't have the moustache on the Kenny Everett show in February, so it was between then and late June, when the US Game tour kicked off.

The first time I saw it was in Smash Hits in the ad for the Play the Game single. Must have been May 1980.

I said to my cousin 'Freddie's got a moustache!'

Why a useless reply like this? I was asking myself the same question. We have to say that not all members have the same maturity.
