The True Meaning of Queen Songs

You always thought this song was about X, but instead it really is about Y.

Body Language
You always thought this song was about big dumb sex, but instead it really is about how deaf people communicate.

Another One Bites The Dust
You always thought this song was about smoking marihuana, instead it really is supposed to be a funny song about cowboys getting shot down. Hilarious, John!

We Are The Champions
You always thought this was a gay football anthem. In reality Freddie wrote it to encourage the mushrooms in his garden to grow.

Pain Is So Close To Pleasure
You always thought this song was about SM, but instead it really is about the highs and lows of a relationship .

Put Out The Fire
You always thought this song was about banning fire arms, but instead it really is about banning smoking in public places.

Crazy Little Thing Called Love
You always thought this was just a unpretentious rockabilly song about love, but instead it is about a term used in tennis which Freddie always thought very funny.

Teo Torriate
You always thought this song was about Brian's favourite sushi bar near Kensington Street, but instead it really is about Brian's favourite sushi bar on Oxford Street.

My Fairy King
You always thought this song was about Freddie first gay lover, but instead it is inspired by Robert Browning's poem, "The Pied Piper of Hamelin".

I Want It All
You always thought this song was about a phrase Anita used to say, but instead it really is about Brian May desperately wanting to share writing credit for all the songs, seeing as he always got shafted when the singles were selected, and then when this unexpectedly became a hit he sneakily tried to reverse the decision. I want it all, indeed.

Misfire
You always thought this song was about ejaculation during sex, but instead it really is just a silly love song. What were you thinking? It's written by John Deacon!

Was It All Worth It?
You always thought this song was a look-back on Queen's carreer, instead it was inspired by an extremely expensive bill Queen had to pay after having a copious diner at an exclusive tapas restaurant in Malaga, Spain in 1986 and the band wondered if it was all worth it.

Bohemian Rhapsody
You always thought this song was about AIDS, but that is silly because AIDS wasn't even known in 1976 when this song was written! Instead, it really is about Jim Hutton.

Some funny stuff here, but try to avoid repetitions ('you always thought...') as it gets annoying after some time.

Hahahaha. Some of those were very funny, especially the one about the mushrooms. Some of them I didn't like so much, but the Bohemian Rhapsody one? Hilarious.
