To DARREN1977

You really are a whinging sod. Honestly,... do you have anything good or constructive to say about...

Queen at Wembley DVD

Milton Keynes DVD

Greatest Video Hits 1 & 2 DVDs.

Freddie 12-CD box.

They are great products, and in many ways unprecedented - certainly not the crap you would have people believe. What is the matter with you? Can't you see the good in anything? Are you as negative about everything else in your life, or it exclusively Queen product you loathe?.... product which we spent much time on, and which we were careful to make as good as humanly possible. Indeed, are YOU human?

Lighten up, you miserable brute.

I agree with you Greg. Some people have forgotten than QP have released some products which are purely and simply masterpieces. I, and many others like, me derive great satisfaction from viewing the Wembley and Milton Keynes concerts as well as both Greatest Video Hits volumes. (I cannot comment on the Freddie set as I unfortunately do not own it)

Some of the criticism directed at QP and at you in particular Greg is, I feel, most unjustified. What people need to remember is that it takes time to create documents such as both the above concerts, but it truly is worth the wait in the end. Items such as these do not come overnight.

When Montreal was announced as the next Queen DVD, some people did not like it, to put things mildly. However, isn't this just a way of updating all the current releases into the best format possible before switching your attention to brand new, never-before-seen works? If so, it doesn't strike me as being something to be up in arms about. I myself have never seen Montreal in any release before and am greatly looking forward to it.

I wish I could be of some assistance to you in finding all existing Queen live material Greg, but unfortunately I can't as I am not an expert in that field. But I wish you all the best of luck in your searches.

Not quite. I believe the actual process is "updating all current releases into the best format possible before switching your attention to brand new FORMATS and re-release the same material".

I like the Montreal 81 show because it was the next show after they toured Mexico and it gives me an idea on what it was. The quality of the image is nothing short of stunning and the sound is very good.

Yes, Wembley and Milton Keynes were outstanding releases. Not so much GVH1 with all the cropped videos (chance to re-release it in a few years time). QP surely know how to milk the fans and know that their DVDs will sell enough to climb to the #1 DVD spot.

Why release new stuff if the same material re-released over and over again keeps on selling like pancakes? It's business. They don't care about pleasing a 'minority' group of hardcore fans.

They better include some top notch extras in the Montreal DVD and, for crying out loud, a cool PACKAGE ART! Milton Keynes had the crappiest art of recent Queen releases until ROTC was released, hehe :).

The Freddie box is perhaps the best box set ever released.

Yeah I don't like the cropping on GVH (and it ruined the Radio Ga-Ga video completely), but there is so much content on it for the money that it's an incredible bargain...the sound is better than the CDs and I think the two DVDs are cheaper than two CDs. Seeing Brian hold up the actual Bo Rhap master is worth it alone :)

Brian's wanted WWRY released with a proper audio mix for a long time...it was expected that would happen eventually.

So were you an ASS before the accident or was that a result of it?

I heard it was a sex change operation.

An abortion that just wouldn't go away?

Lucky her, she gets a break from you. Maybe I should hookup with your girlfriend. Looks like she could use a good man and I can drive her to therapy.
