how time flies by.doesnt feel like 15 years since i was there.
mind you its nearly 3.30pm when i write this so i was probably in 'the Torch' pub having a few bevvies beforehand like i always did before a gig there.actually there's no probably about it!
and if someone had said then that i would be retired and living in a cornish fishing port 15 years later i would have laughed them out of the building :-]

i read somewhere that someone mistook annie lennox for vanilla ice.

on a serious note, i think that it was okay. at least it brought people together and made AIDS more known.

Wow! Can't believe it's been that long ago! Seems like it was just yesterday, and I was getting ready to graduate high school in about a month! I think it was pretty good and definately made people more aware of the disease.

Fair enough. Produce a better one.

Bigger name artists, bigger venue, more publicity, more money raised.

Go on, I dare you...

And I was 2!

Funnily enough, I do remember it. I watched it on TV with my Dad. He taped it and I used to watch it so much I wore the tape out. I really need to buy it on DVD now...

Don't bother, the DVD sucks. Try getting the official VHS release on E-Bay or Amazon instead.

Mary & I got chatting about the FM tribute last night -- on our way to see WWRY musical in London -- loads of fun, a great time. The NBY part felt real, and Brian asking for spare change in the men's room caught me by surprise. I actually like the Zuccero (sp?) song, but Stone Cold Crazy and The Show Must Go On are my favorites.

Scotland tomorrow, Amsterdam, then France, but LONDON ROCKS!
