I first discovered Nutella at a Bavarian grocery store in 1987. Years passed and that was the only place I could find it. Now it's at every grocery store in America. A couple of companies have tried to make "their version" of it, but fail every time. I think the hazelnuts are the secret of success. Only one bad thing about Nutella. It doesn't look that good once spread... in fact, downright nasty.

I didn't know what the stuff was, until I went to France in the summer of 2004. Then I discovered the joy that is Nutella! Every day I had a nutella and banana crepe for breakfast, and once I came back I found out that Nutella was avilable at my local score. So I bought it, and I personally love it on toast with some whipped cream. It does look nasty when spread, though...but the taste is worth it :-)

I refuse to put Nutella on anything but biscuits, and if I don't have any of those, I'll eat a spoonful of it. However, my little sister will eat it on toast or breadrolls, which sounds all kinds of disgusting, to me at least. But it is prety good to eat on its own :)

My ex-Gf mentioned Nutella to me. But I never bothered to try it. Now, you've gotten me curious about Nutella. My favorite dessert will always be Ice-cream. Haagen Daaz. Ben and Jerry's. I also love those Icecream sandwiches.

I remember you could buy nutella in those little packs and they came with those plastic spoon things and I would take them to school for my lunch when I was in J2 hehe! Now all I have is crusty marmite sandwiches and squiggles cos I'm too lazy to make anything interesting.

mmmmm, nutella. I grew up on that stuff. I have fond memories of walking with my nonna to the little Italian grocery store in town to buy a jar for lunch. Ahhh, the good ol' days.

Being about the only Men At Work fan still alive, as none of you probably even own a Colin Hay CD, I must say I will PASS on the Vegemite. Tried It. Hated It.
