Freddie Mercury Tributes

Freddie Mercury, lead singer of the rock band Queen, totally incomparable. A consumate performer, a vocalist without peer, with a range that defies all in the popular music world. As a songwriter, he composed many Queen's biggest hits, and therefore, some of most popular songs of all time, including "We are the Champions" and "Bohemian Rhapsody".

Freddie is my inspiration, ever since I've discovered him and Queen, I fell in love with them ever since! I love cats, music, and art. I also play piano and sing just like him. Freddie always brightens up my day, and I would always sing along with his music. He's would always be my favorite singer in the world. Love you Freddie :)

When you came to my city (Monterrey, Mex.) in 1981, I wanted to go to the concert to see you performing; I didn´t make it. I have always been a fan of yours, but this year (2013), all of a sudden I started getting connected with you in such a strong way that it´s impossible for me to stop listening to your music and watching your videos. I even bought a pair of Adidas tennis shoes like the ones you used to wear in some of the shows, and I´m having done a mural photo wall of you performing to place it in my bedroom. It hurts a lot knowing I won´t be able to see you in person, but my love, admiration and respect are with you always, Freddie.

Freddie, in my opinion, was the best singer in the world. I love him so much. It's a shame he had to die of that terrible disease, AIDS. I wish I could have made it to one of his concerts, but unfortunately, I was born after his death. His songs were AWESOME. Especially, "We Are The Champions", "Bicycle Race", "Don't Stop Me Now," and "Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy." He was a very rich man, but he wasn't snooty.
