Freddie Mercury Tributes

Freddie Mercury, lead singer of the rock band Queen, totally incomparable. A consumate performer, a vocalist without peer, with a range that defies all in the popular music world. As a songwriter, he composed many Queen's biggest hits, and therefore, some of most popular songs of all time, including "We are the Champions" and "Bohemian Rhapsody".

Freddie's my Queen. Nobody could never makes my heart racing like he does. His music's part of my life, and it will be always so. I wish I could have lived when he still lived here. Well, I know, he's singing with angels now, but I miss him a lot, y'know, how couldn't I? But his music is his soul and a piece of it is in every our heart. So, thank you, Freddie, for everything you've done to me. I love you so much, dear musical prostitute

It breaks my heart to think your life was cut short too soon, when you had so much more to give... I was only 7 when you passed, and missed out on your wonder years, but I've been playing catch up lately, and wish I'd of got the chance to see you live.. But however your talent and spirit lives on.. And you've opened up new doors for me .. As I'm now looking to help spread the word on AIDS and help fight the stigma attach, if only we could travel back and change the path.. But now we can fight for the future..

Freddie mercury was one of the greatest, if not THE greatest rock vocalists of all time... if I didn't have his music growing up I would be a very different person today....even though freddie's Ben gone for nearly 25 years now his music still inspires people all around the world...in the end freddie never did give in and showed incredible bravery in the face of imminent death I also would like to pay tribute to freddie's "husband" jim hutton who I'm sure kept fred happy even though the outlook was incredibly bleak in the end I guess, like freddie sung, "the show must go on" and now, even though I'm an agnostic I hope that freddie and Jim can be together forever in a better place, wherever that might be... rest in peace. Freddie mercury 1946-1991 and Jim hutton 1950-2010 you'll both be missed dearly, but at least you left us with a lifetime of great music and happiness. I still love you.

R.I.P Freddie Mercury, you're always in my thoughts. Whenever I listen to Bohemian Rhapsody I always cry at the end, because you're voice was so great. You're gonna be remembered all over the world.

Freddie, there can be only one... :-) And for me, YOU have always been a true inspiration, my comfort, a shot in the arm... and simply the best musician I can imagine. I love and adore you and the wonderful music you have written and produced - most of all your soulful voice. Listening to you is something that feeds me inside. It's a shame what Brian and Roger have been doing for quite a few years: They are just ruining your songs and - using ridiculous frontmen - everything Queen as a band used to be. Too sad, but they can't touch you. You stay stronger than ever in the hearts of so many people like me - who just love you and keep your memory alive. That's the way it is, Darling!

I really discovered Queen in a significant way after retirement while sorting thru old music. I found that Freddie's words and music have particularly meaning for me at this time in my life. It's spiritual really and his lyrics have inspired me and helped me cope with loss and change After leaving my 3 decade career as an art professor I experienced a great sense of dread... Thanks to Freddie and Queen I have been able to pull out of a serious depression and get back into the art studio and recommit to my studio goals.
