14-03-2005 - TOP NORWEGIAN ARTISTS CONFIRMED FOR 46664 ARCTIC



46664 ARCTIC today announced details of the first artists to confirm for

the 46664 ARCTIC concert in Tromsø on 11th June.



The top Norwegian artists confirmed for 46664 ARCTIC are:

- Madrugada

- Kaizers Orchestra

- Anneli Drecker

- Ane Brun



Discussions are ongoing with other international artists. Further

announcements can be expected in the coming months as artists confirm

their support for Mr Mandela’s campaign to raise global awareness of

HIV/AIDS and funds for the Nelson Mandela Foundation, to help those

infected and affected by HIV/AIDS in Southern Africa.



Inspired by the vision & leadership of Mr Mandela, 46664 aims to raise

awareness of the global HIV/AIDS pandemic, as well as funds, to help the

Nelson Mandela Foundation to initiate, develop and support practical

programmes for the prevention, testing, care and support for those

infected and affected by HIV / AIDS in South Africa.



46664 ARCTIC, the first concert of its kind in Norway, will build on the

global success of the all-star 46664 concert in Cape Town last year. For

African sun is shining down as Fancourt prepares for Saturday's concert.
