News > Freddie box set to be released on October 2nd

Added on 22-May-2000

The long awaited Freddie Mercury box set is due out soon and will contain 10 or 12 CDs. This is what the Offical Fanclub has to say about it

The contents of the box have yet to be completely finalised, but there will be about 10 or 12 cd's, two of which will be DVD's of Freddie's videos and interview material. The music CD's will feature all three of his original CD releases (all remastered) Mr Bad Guy, Barcelona and The Great Pretender (the US version of The Freddie Mercury Album). The other CD's will comprise 12" mixes, singles, other artists Freddie has worked with and archive material and rareties. It will come as a "coffee table sized" photograph album, featuring never before seen photos, and of course many of the better know but just as gorgeous ones! It WILL be a complete set, all you could ever ask for, beautifully presented and well worth having. I don't yet know a price, but I'm told it wont be "extortionate". There was some discussion about releasing the material as smaller "sets" to then add to the main package, but I don't know if this is still being talked about.
