One item not for sale, but a key attraction at the fair, was the juvenile stamp collection of rock star Freddie Mercury of Queen. The blue binder filled with mostly British Commonwealth stamps that he collected as a teenager in the 1950s showed his flair for style even at that age. He spread the stamps out in geometric designs, instead of following strict categories. The stamps were on loan from the British Postal Museum and Archive (BPMA).
