Queen+Paul Rodgers 2006 USA Tour, Live Sheffield Album, Tribute Album News!Billboard.com reports that Queen+Paul Rodgers will be playing a few as yet to be confirmed North American cities this Fall 2005, and will return to the USA in Spring 2006, for a full fledged National tour of the States, (their first tour in the USA in over 18 years, since 1982, and thus immensely anticipated by Queen fans in the USA).



Billboard.com cites Brian May's official website www.brianmay.com, that Queen+Paul Rodgers will in fact perform in both New York and Los Angeles later in 2005 as well as Aruba on October 8, 2005 and Tokyo, Japan on October 26, 2005, ''and then get back to the (United) States to do the main stuff in the Spring (2006)''.



Queen+Paul Rodgers will release their first album together, ever, taken from their current Internationally lauded tour. This live album which was taped at their concert gig in Sheffield, England will drop on the EMI label, tentatively set for a September 2005 release on CD, with a DVD of the same concert set for a tentative October 2005 release.



Also, Hollywood Records will be releasing their own Queen Tribute album, entitled, ''Killer Queen'' on August 2, 2005.

The album contains 15 songs by some of today's brightest and current stars and new talent. 2 versions of the classic, signature Queen tune, ''Bohemian Rhapsody'' are on the disc, one by The Flaming Lips and one by American Idol's own Constantine Maroulis accompanied by the entire cast from the Las Vegas, USA staging of the Queen hit Internationally acclaimed theatrical stage musical ''We Will Rock You''.
