Konami announced today that their latest PlayStation 2 soccer simulation 'Winning Eleven 6' is scheduled for release on April 25th in Japan. The game will prominently feature Masafumi Nakayama of the Japanese team 'Jublio Iwata' on its packaging and associated advertising. Moreover, Konami has acquired the rights to use two rock anthems from the band 'Queen' in the game. Reportedly, the introduction sequence from Winning Eleven 6 will be over two minutes long and will include the songs 'We Will Rock You,' and 'We are the Champions.' The game will carry the license of FIFPro, providing a full slate of International teams, players and stadiums.
