The celebrated dancers of Mzansi Productions showcase a sleek, seductive celebration of love set to the legendary music of Queen.
Three singers and four musicians will accompany the dancers and Debbie Raskusin (African Footprint) and Timothy le Roux are responsible for the choreography, exploring facets of relationships in an elegant sophisticated show brimming with atmosphere, ambience and superlative entertainment.
The endlessly fascinating landscape of human relationships form the central theme of this sophisticated production from Mzansi Productions, South Africa's versatile, new cutting edge dance company. Using a selection of songs by iconic Queen star Freddie Mercury and twelve of the most beautiful bodies in Gauteng, this will be a two-part homage to love.
Eighteen of Queen's greatest songs have been especially arranged for this production by DuPreez Strauss for the singers and musicians who will share the stage with the dancers. Classically trained at the Juilliard School of Music in New York, Strauss has worked as artistic consultant, composer, music director, pianist, conductor and performer, accumulating production credits in stage and television productions in South Africa and abroad.
