Back By Popular Demand: SFGMC Does Queen! The San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus will be performing at the Jackson Theater at Ohlone College in Fremont on Saturday, July 27, 2002.

Performances will be at 5 PM and 8 PM. The program will be a musical tribute to Freddie Mercury and the legendary rock group Queen The show was performed in San Francisco in April, and was a huge success.

Concert proceeds benefit Fremont Mission: AIDS.

Seating is reserved. Tickets are priced at $20 (general) and $15 (students and anyone over 65 years.) Call 415.865.3650 (SFGMC Office) for ticket information.

[note: I just received the CD of this music, and it's pretty great. Their version of "Who Wants to Live Forever" is pretty monumental. The CD sleeve has dedications to various chorus members' lost partners to AIDS, which makes things especially poignant.]
