Added on 13-Apr-2007

Tickets are still available for the live concert tribute to the band Queen, scheduled for Saturday night at USAO. The band “Queen For A Day” will perform starting at 8 p.m. in TeAta Memorial Auditorium in Troutt Hall.

Queen For A Day recently returned from England, where they performed in front of thousands at the International Queen Fan Club convention. The group is lead by Gregory Finsley, whose vocals, costume, and piano playing are amazingly similar to Queen’s original lead singer, the late Freddie Mercury.

Queen is best known for their hits We Will Rock You/We Are The Champions, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, Bohemian Rhapsody, and Another One Bites The Dust.

Tickets for the concert are $15 for adults, and half-price for anyone under 18. They will remain on sale through 4 p.
